What you'll be doing
Reporting directly into the Managing Director of the region you will lead a small team of Quantity Surveyors, Buyers and Estimators.
Responsible for the management of contracts for all sub-contractors, you will work in line with build programmes to ensure that timescales are met and competitive quotes are sourced. Producing acquisition budgets and reporting on progress against these, you will ensure that relevant information is communicated to the Land team within good time.
Skill and experience
- Previously worked in a Senior/Chief Surveyor role
- Have experience in new build, refurbishments and housing association with flats or houses
- Be an adept communicator
- Resilient with strong diplomacy skills
- Provide clear leadership for the Commercial team
- Possess a passion for high quality home building
