Holmewood, Gregories Road, Beaconsfield, HP9 1GE

Location & Transport

Beaconsfield is a prosperous, picturesque English market town steeped in history and tradition. Since its first official mention in 1185, this beautiful Buckinghamshire town has been blessed with history and a character of its very own. The annual fair, for example, takes place on May 10th each year and dates back over 735 years. Beaconsfield was Benjamin Disraeli's constituency under Queen Victoria, and if you take a stroll through old Beaconsfield, you can't help but notice the number of old coaching inns that sit along the red brick houses and small boutiques - hardly surprising since Beaconsfield was the first coach stopping point between London and Oxford. The schools are, as you might expect, enormously popular. And while Old Beaconsfield is ideal for boutiques and browsing, New Beaconsfield offers all the big high street names as well as a bustling, vibrant nightlife.
