The Ridings is located in a quiet location with various recreational areas close by including the South Downs and Ditchling Beacon.

For the commuter, the A23 is approximately five miles distant, in turn giving access to the south coast, M23 and M25 motorway network.  Haywards Heath mainline station provides regular services to London Victoria with a journey time of about forty five minutes.

There is a wide selection of both State and Private schools locally for children of all ages.
