We are thrilled to announce that our exciting regeneration development in Maidenhead Town Centre has won a coveted RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) Award in the regeneration category. The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday 17th May in Southampton and our development was up against stiff competition for the accolade. RICS judges praised Shanly Homes for kick-starting the town's regeneration, as well as noting the positive reception of the scheme by the local community.
Stewart Kirk, managing director of Shanly Homes (Thames Valley) commented: "We are delighted Chapel Arches has been recognised for its impact on the local area. Maidenhead has an exciting future which Shanly Homes is proud to have a part in shaping. The Picturehouse and Chapel Wharf are on schedule for completion this summer and we are looking forward to commencing works on Phase 3, Waterside Plaza this autumn. Regarded as the premier property and construction awards in the country, to win a RICS Award is truly a great honour."
Chapel Arches will now go to the RICS Awards Grand Final to be held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Park Lane early in November where the overall winner of each category will be selected from across the country.
