Beckenham is a town in Greater London, in the south east of England, within the London Borough of Bromley, it has a busy high street and town centre containing many restaurants, upmarket chains and family run independent shops. Locally, it has a great selection of excellent local schools including 11 primary schools and 4 secondary schools.
For leisure time, there are several open space areas of parkland nearby including Kelsey Park, Crease Park and Beckenham Green which hosts regular local events including farmers markets & concerts. Beckenham has several organisations and societies, the local Odeon cinema has six screens and is a grade II listed building while the Beckenham Festival of Music and Dancing takes place every November.
With fantastic transport links, the M25 can be accessed quickly at junction 4 via the A21. Gatwick Airport is an hour's drive away and is easily accessible by train from East Croydon. Beckenham benefits from six local train stations serving London and South Kent, trains from Beckenham station to London Victoria take 20 minutes and London Bridge takes 30 minutes.
