Caterham is a commuter town, with small-to-medium-sized
businesses of its own but relatively few business/industrial parks.
6 miles south of Croydon, it has many schools and nurseries, with
shops and restaurants as well as pubs dotted throughout Caterham on
the Hill and Caterham Valley. There is an annual carnival held in
the town, with a procession of floats and a fete.
If you're looking for Retail and Leisure, you are within a short drive to Croydon with an array of pubs, bars, restaurants, high street shops, supermarkets and its own shopping centre. It is also, under a 40 minute drive to get to Bluewater shopping centre.
