What is Deposit Unlock

Deposit Unlock is a collaboration between housebuilders and the mortgage lenders enabling first time buyers and home movers to secure a new build home with just a 5% deposit. It is available on selected homes up to £833,250* and makes homebuying more affordable.

How does Deposit Unlock work?

Choose your new Shanly home
Explore our website to discover Shanly Homes new build developments in your chosen location. Once you know which development you’d like to call home, call our friendly team who will be happy to arrange an appointment for you to view. Don’t forget to tell them you are interested in Deposit Unlock.

Before your visit
Before your visit, we recommend you speak to an independent financial or mortgage advisor who will be able to qualify you for Deposit Unlock. You’ll receive a confirmation letter enabling you to apply for your Deposit Unlock mortgage.

Visit your chosen development and reserve your new home
At the visit speak to our team about which homes are available on the Deposit Unlock scheme, then choose your prefect Shanly home.

Terms and conditions

1. Deposit Unlock is available on selected homes and on selected developments.

2. You must be able to provide a 5% deposit.

3. The scheme is only available in the UK.

4. The scheme is only available on homes up to a value of £833,250 dependent upon the mortgage lender’s criteria and upper limit.

5. The scheme may be withdrawn at any time prior to reservation of the relevant plot.

6. Deposit Unlock cannot be used in conjunction with any other buying scheme offered by Shanly Homes.

7. Shanly Homes do not offer mortgage advice. Please seek independent advice from a qualified financial or mortgage advisor.

8. Entering a Deposit Unlock Agreement does not preclude your right to a full reservation fee refund during the 14-day cooling off period under the terms of the NHQC.
