For aviation enthusiasts, why not join the West London Aero Club at White Waltham Airfield, one of the oldest and best-known airfields in the country. More country pursuits can be found at Pondwood Fisheries, home to 4 fishing lakes and holding matches throughout the year. Further afield Maidenhead offers go-karting, crazy golf, children’s play parks, and Braywick Leisure Centre, whilst historic Windsor with its plethora of shops is under 8 miles away.

De Havilland Place enjoys the best of both worlds – surrounded by countryside and charming villages whilst being close to road and rail connections. Maidenhead Station is just 3.6 miles away offering a fast service into London Paddington in as little as 18 minutes, as well as services into the heart of the City on the Elizabeth line. Hub station Reading can be reached in 14 minutes and opens up access to the West Country and the north. Just 2.5 miles away the A404M can be accessed at junction 9A or 9B connecting to the M4 and the M40. The M25 can be accessed via the M4 at nearby Slough. For business or holiday travel, Heathrow Airport is easily accessible being 16.4 miles away.

Popular White Waltham CofE Academy Primary School is just 0.3 miles from De Havilland Place and is a traditional, small village school steeped in history. Woodlands Park Primary School is also an academy and is less than a mile away. Secondary schools are in abundance with co-ed academy Cox Green School 1.48 miles away, Holyport College 2.06 miles away, Newlands School for girls 2.35 miles away and Desborough College for boys 2.71 miles away. For pupils 16 plus looking for a more vocational course, Berkshire College of Agriculture is just 4.2 miles away.
